We believe that kids are the future of the Church - and are a HUGE part of the Church today! We've made it our mission to do whatever it takes to reach, teach, and equip our kids to be all that God has called them to be! Our nursery, preschool, and elementary-aged kids have state-of-the-art facilities and a phenomenal team of volunteer and paid staff to help make sure your kids are safe, having fun, and learning to be more like Jesus!

NURSERY
Nursery Ministry
Nursery (Birth to 3 Years Old)
Our nursery is where we provide a warm, caring environment for each child. The nursery is open during every service. Each nursery class includes a wide variety of playtime activities for each age group, as well as Bible lessons.
The spiritual development & safety of each child is of primary concern at First Vilonia!
Service Times
Sundays | 9:00am & 10:45am
Our General Policies
Check in opens 15 minutes prior to each service and closes 15 minutes after service starts.
Children are to be brought to the check-in counter by a parent/guardian and will only be released to the parent/guardian with a Parent Pick-Up Sticker.
Parents/Guardians should come for their children immediately following the service or event they have attended.
Please see that items belonging to your child are properly and clearly labeled. This should include: diaper bag, diapers, plastic bottles/cups, pacifiers, drinking cups, and blankets.
Babies will be fed pre-measured formula, milk, or juice as provided only by the parent/guardian. Toddlers will be provided with a snack and water. Time and circumstances do not allow for any other type of feeding (including spoon-feeding infants).
We try everything in our abilities to calm an upset child for up to 10 minutes. After that, we will call the parent/guardian using the buzzers provided at check-in. That time frame can be catered for each family until the child feels comfortable staying in the nursery.
SKIP
Preschool and Kindergarten Ministry
Preschool (3 Years Old to Kindergarden)
SKIP is our preschool class designed for children 3 years old- Kindergarten. SKIP offers exciting ways for your child to connect with God, friends, and loving volunteers.
Your child will enjoy activities like crafts, snacks, and praise & worship. Learning time is always an adventure in SKIP. Hands-on illustrations and creative storytelling engage kids in the process of growing in God’s Word!

High Voltage
Elementary-Aged Kids Ministry
Elementary (1st – 5th Grade)
HVKM (High Voltage Kids Ministry) is for elementary aged kids (1st through 5th Grade). We have tons of fun and exciting activities for kids to be involved in! All of our HVKM services and activities are in our kids ministry area located upstairs in The Student Hub.
Our kids’ services are designed for kids in 1st through 5th Grade. Your kids will enjoy a power-packed hour filled with games, music, and powerful teaching from the Bible! Each week our kids learn the exact same thing as the adults, but on an elementary-aged level, so that families can learn and grow together each week!
All of our campuses are learning the same lessons each week, so if your child has to miss HVKM, they can keep up with the series by watching SLAM at our main campus, First NLR, live or on demand at slamkids.tv!

At First Vilonia, there are activities for everyone! We have classes for all ages to help build strong disciples of Jesus through fun, Bible-based learning. Connections Classes are on Wednesdays at 6:30pm.

COOL KIDS
5yr - 5th Grade // Special Needs Class
Cool Kids (5yr – 5th Grade) 10:45 AM
Cool Kids is a Special Needs Ministry serving children 5 years to 5th grade. Our staff works with kids individually to teach them a personalized, hands-on Bible lesson each week. Our goal is to provide the opportunity for those with special needs to grow spiritually, physically, emotionally, and socially. We strive to promote friendship in an encouraging and fun environment, to make ministry with families experiencing a disability a natural part of church life−not a special one, and to show the love of Jesus and present the message of salvation to everyone!
Cool Kids takes place only during our 10:45 AM service!

Our General Policies
Safety is always our top priority. If at any time a child becomes a danger to another child or to a volunteer, we will ask a parent or guardian to come and assist.
Please note that all of our teachers are volunteers. While we do our best to provide training and support, they are not professionally trained as in a school or medical setting. For this reason, we are unable to administer medication.
